Peter Shambora

Peter Shambora was most recently Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations at CodeGear a Borland owned division. CodeGear is the leader in software developer tools, including, C++, Delphi, and JBuilder. He was recruited to assist the company in it’s preparation for a potential acquisition. CodeGear was acquired in July 2008.

In 2004, Peter became the CEO of Data Center Technologies. DCT designed and provided Content Addressable Storage software used in the management of document storage, archiving and retrieval. DCT was acquired by Veritas Corporation in April 2005. Prior to DCT Peter was the founder and CEO of StorageWay an early leader in the Storage Service Provider sector.

Peter has 30 years of experience in the computer storage market working with start-ups, turn around and mature companies. He has operational knowledge and experience in both the Domestic and International market. His primary focus has been in sales/marketing and executive level positions. Peter was a Naval Aviation Officer, serving for ten years and achieved the rank Lieutenant Commander. He was also a part time instructor for eight years in International Business at the university level.

Peter holds a MS from USC in Systems Mgmt. and a BS from San Jose State in Industrial Mgmt.
